About the event

Attention Albanian Youth in Toronto!
We’re excited to announce a new initiative to support our fellow Albanian newcomers as they begin their journey in Canada.
Over the next 12 months, we’ll be hosting monthly virtual events dedicated to helping young Albanian professionals navigate the challenges of settling in Toronto.
Event Details
These free monthly sessions will focus on essential topics for newcomers who have arrived within the last 6 months, including:
- Job search strategies and networking opportunities
- Housing assistance and rental guidance
- Obtaining crucial documents (Social Insurance Number, bank accounts, phone plans)
- Navigating driver’s license and healthcare registration
- Education pathways and professional designation recognition
Why Attend?
As young Albanians who have gone through the settlement process ourselves, we understand the unique challenges our community faces. These events will provide:
- Practical, up-to-date information tailored to Albanian newcomers
- Opportunities to connect with fellow Albanian youth in Toronto
- A supportive environment to ask questions and share experiences
How to Participate
- Events will be held virtually once per month
- Registration is FREE via Eventbrite
- Sign-up links will be provided closer to each event date
We’re committed to fostering a strong, supportive Albanian community in Toronto. By sharing our knowledge and experiences, we can help ease the transition for our newest community members.
Get Involved
Inspired by successful initiatives in other communities, we’re always looking for ways to improve. If you have ideas or would like to contribute, please reach out! We’re particularly interested in:
- Guest speakers from various professional fields
- Mentorship opportunities for newcomers
