“Ensure your business idea addresses a real problem and conduct thorough market research to understand your competition and target audience”- this was the key advice of the month. What else did we discuss with the Albanian Youth community during this event?
In this special session, we had the pleasure of welcoming four distinguished guests: Krist Todi, Luka Lamaj, Austin Mckey, and Lusi Brace. Each of them shared unique perspectives and valuable advice for new entrepreneurs.

Krist Todi emphasized the importance of focusing on benefits and the initial offer. He underlined the need to provide a product that people truly need, making this the central point of the business strategy.
Austin Mckey, speaking from the perspective of a start-up investor, pointed out that sustainability is above all other needs. He added an important piece of advice: “Don’t forget that customers want to share positive experiences above all.” This emphasizes the importance of creating an excellent customer experience.

Lusi Brace gave wise advice for start-up owners. She emphasized the need to stay “humble”, make the right decisions, and not forget that the customer can often be the “biggest enemy” of a business. This bold perspective reminds us that we must always be vigilant and focused on our customers’ needs.
Luka Lamaj spoke about the importance of being in the right place at the right time. He added a powerful piece of advice: “If you’re not convinced, don’t do it. But if you decide to do it, do it by all means.” This emphasizes the importance of full commitment when we decide to pursue a business idea.

The Main Lesson of the Evening
Perhaps the most important sentence of the evening at this TTT was: “Don’t fall in love with your idea.”
This reminds us that we need to be open to changes and constructive criticism, constantly adapting to market needs and customer feedback.
